Targeted Learning
The Courses
The aim of all Targeted Learning courses is to help students boost their academic and SAT scores.
The summer 2008 Targeted Learning program offers students a choice of 2 courses:
- Vocabulary and Reading
- Writing and Grammar
Each of the courses has three levels: A (advanced), B (intermediate) and C (elementary).
Lessons in each course are two hours long. Students can expect the class time to be evenly divided between the two skills.

| Please be aware that not all levels of TL are offered outside of our main office in Taipei. |
Enrollment
- Targeted Learning courses are open to all students in grade 6
and above.
- In all Targeted Learning courses, students are classed by grade
and level.
- To enable us to place students in an appropriate class, they
MUST pre-test unless they are currently enrolled in the TL
Sunday program or have taken a Targeted Learning course
within the last six months.
- Students may take the pre-test online, at our office, or download
and fax it to us.
- Once we receive the test, we will grade it and advise you of the
student’s level and suitable courses for them.
- Pre-tests must be completed at least seven days before the start of
the course you want to enroll in.
Continuing students
- Many Targeted Learning students continue with their courses through a second and sometimes third month.
- Students who continue generally stay at the same level but study new materials which build on what they have already learned. Exceptional students may change level.
Pricing
Reading and Vocabulary: 120 min x 9 sessions = NT$13,750
Writing and Grammar: 120 min x 9 sessions = NT$13,750
TL Combo: 2 courses = NT$25,000
Combo price applies to students who take 2 TL courses:
- On the same day and the same month
- On different days but in the same month
- In different months
Please note: The combo price can not be used for more than one student. Students must register and pay for both courses at the same time to receive the combo price.
